Why this exists

Every VC firm is awash in information — meeting notes, market data & reports, portfolio updates, deal flow datarooms, CRM and Portfolio data, newsletters, events, content & media exposure, and more. Most all professionals can only barely make sense of it in their head -- pattern recognition. Information from separate channels, data in silos, files scattered and rarely opened. How can we create more value from the data we already have?, How can we channel that information into better decisions?

Data-Driven Venture WG works out the how together: how to have Research Agents, parse market research PDFs, generate meaningful visualizations from disconnected spreadsheets and financiels, automate email update forwarding and ingestion into Database Apps (like Airtable), and more.

What we share

  • Real workflows (sanitized) — the actual channels, materials, file systems, apps, and tools we use.

  • Unembarrased unknowns — what we're still figuring out, what's not working, what we're hacking around.

  • Vendor, tech stack, app, and tool evaluations from members who've kicked the tires.
